This document published in English, French and Spanish contains the text of the agreement on port state measures to prevent, deter and eliminate Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing. The agreement seeks to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing through the adoption and implementation of effective port state measures as a means of ensuring the long-term conservation and sustainable use of living marine resources. The Agreement gives special emphasis to the requirements of developing countries to support their efforts to implement the agreement.
