There is need to have more participation against illicit financial flows from Zimbabweans. Zimbabwe has lost approximately US$12billion in the last 3 decades through illicit financial flows ranging from financial deals, tax avoidance and illegal commercial activities. Smuggling, policy inconsistency, political will, asset declaration and the education of the general public are some of the elements that need to be looked at in trying to curb illicit financial flows from Zimbabwe.
