The publication seeks to establish the ease or difficulty with which citizens in southern Africa can access public information by evaluating public institutions’ websites as well as their willingness to disclose information upon request. The assessment seeks to establish the ease or difficulty in accessing relevant public information held by government and public institutions. The study highlighted the fact that ordinary citizens still face challenges in receiving information from public institutions
