Illicit trade is a major and growing problem worldwide. Be it smuggling, counterfeit or tax evasion, governments are losing billions of dollars in tax revenues, legitimate businesses are being undermined and consumers are being exposed to poorly made and unregulated products. This research was conducted addressing the increase in number of illegal trade and poaching. This report seeks to alert governments and the world at large pointing out ways of how they can act upon it.
