This is a presentation by GODFRED PENN, Lead Counsel and Advisor to the General Counsel African Development Bank Group. Godfred looks at illicit financial flows in Africa analysing the regional distribution of IFFs, drivers of IFFs in Africa and the development impact of illicit flows. He also looks at the international legal frameworks of illicit flows as well as the role of the African Development Bank Group in curbing illicit flows and the way forward in ensuring that the loss of money through illicit flows is reduced in Africa.
